I’m interested
My father is non responsive for me as his daughter. Refuses to shower/change clothes on a regular basis, change depends (even when wet ) on a schedule.
Hit & miss on taking his meds.
Doesn’t quality for long term hospice, has copd but no O2.
Verbally abusive to me his only child, I’m trying my very best, but I’m building up resentment towards him.
Sounds to me like respite care is something that would be very helpful for you. I suspect your father is under a doctor’s care and therefore he may be eligible for home health care under medicare or insurance. Check out the section on these options on the Home Health page.
