Does Medicare pay for Home Health Care:

You must meet ALL of these criteria:

  • You have orders from an Idaho Physician for home health skilled nursing or physical therapy
  • Your doctor has certified need for intermittent skilled care.
  • Your have been certified as home bound by your physician.

Does Insurance pay for Home Health Care?

You must meet ALL of these criteria:

  • Your Idaho Physician must certify you as home bound, sign an individualized plan of care and ongoing orders for skilled nursing and/or physical therapy.
  • You must have coverage of benefits for home health care or the financial resources to pay privately for services.
  • Home Health by some payers may not require Home Bound Status.
